Alarm Sounds too Frequently or Experiencing False Alarms on Schlage Connect Series

If your Schlage Connect lock's alarm is sounding too frequently or triggering false alarms, the sensitivity level may be set too high (levels 1 or 2). You can adjust it to a less sensitive level (levels 3, 4, or 5).

How to Adjust the Sensitivity Level:

1. Press and hold the Schlage button until the third LED flash.
This will take about 10 seconds.

2. Tap the Schlage logo to cycle through the five sensitivity levels.

3. Select the sensitivity level you prefer.

The Keyed Entry with Built-in Alarm comes pre-set to Sensitivity Level 3. The sensitivity level indicates the level of touch or activity needed to set off the alarm.

Important: As you cycle through the five levels, the alarm will beep the same number of times as each setting level.
