AD400 lock is set to secure/lock for battery fail mode, if the lock loses power instantly, will it pulse the motor to lock/secure?

No, removing the power does not give the lock power to pulse the motor. The secure on battery fail is when batteries reach critical low, they pulse the motor once before the lock shuts down. If the batteries failed instantly like one battery failed to 0 volts, then the lock would not be able to pulse the motor.
