No, removing the power does not give the lock
power to pulse the motor. The secure on battery fail is when batteries reach
critical low, they pulse the motor once before the lock shuts down. If the
batteries failed instantly like one battery failed to 0 volts, then the lock would
not be able to pulse the motor.
