AD-Series credential readers mounting screws hole thread issue

Manufacturing issue resolved after Oct 4th 2010: Some Credential Readers have been manufactured with residue in the mounting holes . 
These units will not accept the 10x24 mounting screws. Such units can be replaced or the screw holes chased with an appropriate tap. 
Ensure that the attached Technical Bulletin is fully reviewed before taking any corrective action:
