Will a Falcon cylinder work in a Schlage lock?

Key in lever

Falcon cylinders do not work in Schlage locks.  The cylinders may fit, but there are no specific tailpieces created to operate any Schlage lock.

SFIC

SFIC is universal so Falcon and Schlage SFIC are interchangeable.  This goes for all other manufacturers as well.  (keep in mind 6 vs 7 pin SFIC can sometimes factor into what tailpiece, spacer or housing is used.  Be sure to specify)

Mortise

Falcon mortise cylinders will fit into Schlage mortise locks.  They need to have the proper clover cam to operate the L9000 series. (exception of L9060 outside uses a straight cam).

 Hotel cylinder in L9000

The Falcon Hotel cylinders will not work in the Schlage hotel function lockset (L9485, L9486).
