Engineering redesigned the SE roller/slider to include a wear pad and it was launched and started shipping with SE orders on Thursday December 13th 2018. See here for product image. This change effects all SE product lines—4040SE, 1460SE (overseas), 3130SE, and the SEH.
This change is adding a “Wear Pad” to the ####-3034SE roller/slider which will be pressed onto the bottom of the slider. To accommodate this wear pad, the slider had to be modified slightly as well so this wear pad can only be used on the new slider. This “wear pad” will help prevent the side to side movement of the slider as it travels up and down the track, thus helping to prevent the metal slider from rubbing/grinding the bottom or sides of the track, which was some of the feedback we received from customers in the field that experienced poor performance/issues and drove this improvement.
This new SE roller/slider with wear pad will be shipped/sold as an assembly only (model# -3034SE), no individual orderable parts are available. Also, it will retrofit into the current SE tracks, shipped on Feb. 6th 2016 or later.
