"Opening
Force" adjustment could be set to strong (high). This adjustment is a turn pot adjustment which can be found on the controller. Try adjusting the opening force
down counter clockwise (-) about a 1/8 turn, and recycle door. Repeat if
necessary 1/8 turn at a time until motor stops turning when door reaches 90
degrees.
Also check to see if there is any 90° slow down time being used. If there is not and the opening force is on a high setting you may also encounter this situation after the door reaches 90°. Try adding in a little 90° slow down time, a little at a time until motor stops running once the door reaches 90°.
