What is power boost on a Senior Swing or Benchmark operator?

Power Boost is a positive latching feature that increases the latch force, to over come building stack pressure or door weather stripping, etc, if the door stops before coming completely closed.

The power boost feature on the Benchmark operator comes in at latch position, has approximately 12-15 lbs of force, and stays on about 3 seconds with BMK III control (BMK II premium control was 5 seconds).

The power boost feature on the Senior Swing operator comes in at latch position, has approximately 20-25 lbs of force, and is programmable for either 5 seconds or continuous.
