How do I find information on a Master Key system or structure number?

A structure is the term Allegion uses to refer to a master key system.  The structure number is comparable to a file number or system number to locate the set of master key records that is kept on file.

Structure numbers have appeared in the following formats:

  • 1995 - 2011 - a sequence of digits without any letters (see note), e.g. 70442, 621382, 599200, etc.
  • 2011 - 2023 - a sequence of digits preceded by the letters, e.g. KS10503, KS23512, etc.
  • 2023 - present - a two-digit code followed by an R followed by a 5-digit code, e.g. 22R00301, 21R10045

Beginning April 24, 2023, Structure numbers are stamped on master keys for factory keyed systems.  This stamping replaces the registry numbers that used to be stamped on master keys, however master keys from systems that predate April 24, 2023, will still receive their registry number stamping.  Newer master keys on old systems will receive the new structure number stamping.

If you have questions related to an existing masterkey system developed by Allegion or an existing structure number, please e-mail your request to Product Support for Mechanical Locks.
