What would cause a Falcon 8200 (8230/8240) operator to slam the door closed?
Solution ID
68744
Resolution
The Benchmark 9100 series and Falcon 8200 Series operator will allow the door to slam if:
-
The motor is not connected (plugged into) the controller as the closing speed is controlled by a circuit on the controller. The motor has to be connected to the control for this circuit to function, so make sure connector from motor is plugged into controller.
-
The closing speed (brake circuit) on the controller has failed, and the controller needs to be replaced.
