What 55 Rim device type do I need to work with a 379L?

  • For a 55L application, the cross-shaped spindle on the back of the 379L requires that the device be furnished as an NL function, not an EO function.  The trim spindle operates the NL cam in the device.
  • When a 55L is ordered, we furnish the appropriate device.  If a device needs to be ordered as "device only" for use with the 379L (because the customer already has the trim, for example), order a 55NL-OP  which will consist of a 55NL device less trim.
