Von Duprin AX - Marketing Bulletin 5-2-2014

The Von Duprin AX was born out of a need to provide the market with a solution that meets recent California Building Code enhancements. Beginning in January 2014, the California Building Code (Chapter 11B-309.4) established a 5 lb. maximum force of operable parts on doors and gates.  Through engineering and testing Von Duprin has developed a new Accessible (AX) option that is UL certified to meet the maximum 5lb operating force requirements according to California Building Code section 11B-309.4.
