Is it possible to convert a Falcon EL device to an MEL device?

Resolution: No. While there are Falcon MEL (motorized electric latch) conversion kits, they are not compatible with Falcon EL (solenoid driven) electric latch retraction devices. Falcon EL components are riveted to the location where the MEL motor would need to be placed. To change a Falcon EL to device to MEL, a new complete MEL device must be ordered.
