How does a 7350 Automatic Door Bottom work on a sliding door?

When the door is slid to the shut position, the plunger of the automatic door bottom is depressed by the frame causing the seal to drop down, even on this model.

Application considerations:

The door will need a latch; otherwise, the plunger would push the door open slightly and not drop the door bottom.

It may take 2 hands to close the door (depress the plunger) and then latch the door.

Not recommended for applications greater than 48".
