How do I LINK a CTE?

Make sure the Gateway and CTE are within 30 feet of each other, with no metal obstructions, for good Bluetooth signal.

CTE LINKING Steps.
1) Make sure the CTE is already commissioned to the same site as the IP Gateway. They must both be commissioned in the same site.
2) CTE will only LINK to IP Gateway. Make sure the Gateway you want to LINK CTE is managed with an IP Ethernet connection, and not a RS-485 connection.
3) For IP linking there is no action for Linking needed at the CTE, after the CTE is commissioned. All steps are with the IP Gateway.
4) Using the ENGAGE Mobile APP connected to the IP Gateway, go to "Managed LINKED Devices"  mobile APP screen, go to the "Add New Linked Devices" and the CTE will be listed as available to LINK.
If the CTE signal strength is too low, the CTE will not be listed in the "Add New Linked Devices". Move the IP gateway closer or away for any metal obstructions.
If the CTE is not commissioned to the same site as the IP Gateway, CTE will not be listed int he "Add New Linked Devices" See CTE commissioning below.
