Falcon K lock security Allen screw won't fully tighten and lever is loose.

It is important that the Falcon K inside spring cage is installed correctly. If the inside spring cage is installed incorrectly (lever catch is facing the hinges instead of the door edge), and the security cap Allen screw is tightened down on the lever catch, there is the potential for damage to occur to the lever catch.

If this happens, the spring cage will need to be replaced. This part is not a purchasable item, we will have a supply of springcages for these situations.  Check with a Product Specialist.

If the Allen screw will not fully tighten, check the spring cage orientation. Be sure the Allen screw is not tightening against the lever catch as it will damage the lever catch and the Allen screw will not tighten down. The Allen screw should be opposite the side from the lever catch on the spring cage spindle. There is a small hole in the spindle (opposite the lever catch) that the Allen screw tightens against.
