They do not have a true RX switch that monitors the push pad only.
The switch they have is mounted under the push pad and will be triggered by someone pushing in the pad of the device or using the trim because on this device, using the 940L trim does pull in the push pad
on the 94/9547, the latches will catch in the retracted state which holds the pad in the depressed state until the latches extend again
on the 94/9575, the mortise lock catches the latchbolt in the retracted position which has a rod connecting the lock to the centercase of the device and thus holds the pushpad in the retracted position until the door shuts and the depression of the auxiliary bolt on the 7500-IN lock releases the catch allowing the latch to extend and allows the deadlocking mechanism to drop down behind the latch.
The catalog used to describe this switch as being an RX switch when it is in a 94/9575 with only a cylinder operating the mortise lock in the NL function because that is the only time the lock would not pull in the push pad of the device - thus the only time the switch would be triggered is when the push pad is depressed.
