CTE Construction mode?


To Enter CTE construction mode, the CTE must be powered, the MT11-485/MT15-485 reader opeartional, and the CTE in FDR mode. 
Check the CTE power LED, the reader RS-485 LEDs for both blinking every 1/4 second, and the CTE Mode LED showing FDR mode.

With the CTE lid off, press and hold the SCHLAGE Button in for five seconds.
Now both the FDR and CONSTRUCTION mode LEDs will be ON
You have a 20 second time to present a "Master Construction Credential" to the reader making this card the master for programming credential. (repeat above if the time expires before a card read)
The "Master Construction Credential" can be any format supported by the MT-485 readers
When the "Master Construction Credential"  is made the Status LED and reader LED will both blink GREEN FIVE TIMES
After the "Master Construction Credential" is made the "Construction" mode LED will be ON and the FDR mode LED is off

The "Master Construction Credential" is used to make USER construction access cards.
Present the "Master Construction Credential" to the reader (The CTE will not unlock with the "Master Construction Credential")
The reader LED and CTE status LED will go green for 20 seconds
During the 20 seconds you can present a USER construction card to program construction mode access
Repeat the "Master Construction Credential" presentation for additional 20 second windows, for each new USER construction card

Construction mode is cancelled with a "Factory Default Reset" 
Construction mode will not save audits
CTE construction mode will work with any credential format supported by the MT11-485/MT15-485 reader, PROX and Smart Cards
