Can the 24-R be used with the Von Duprin 6111 electric strike?
The 24-R can be used with the Von Duprin 6111 electric strike.
The 6111 has the same projection as the 299 strike and the Von Duprin 4854 electrified mullion has the same dimensions as the Falcon 4023 mullion, therefore;
Single Door Application
The A dimension on the 24-R templates (T-1320 for metal doors, W-1320 for wood doors) and the B dimension of the 6111 template for single doors (30219) measured from the surface of the stop to the CenterLine of the 24-R device is 1 7/16".
Double Door Application
The B dimension on the 24-R templates (T-1320 for metal doors, W-1320 for wood doors) and the B dimension of the 6111 template for double doors (30226) measured from the center of the gap between the doors to the CenterLine of the 24-R device when used with a 6111 strike mounted on a 4854 mullion is 2 7/16"
