Can Primus keys operate non Primus cylinders?

A Primus key can operate a non-Primus cylinder as long as the keyway is the same or the key is a multi-section and in the Everest or Everest 29 keyway families. Non-Primus Classic Obverse keyways have no sidebit milling so a Primus key would not be able to enter cylinders with only a standard pin and tumbler design. Note too, the cylinder must be pinned to be operated by the top cuts of the Primus key.
