What where the S200 design improvements made in 2008?

On April 7th 2008 enhancements to the S200 were completed:

  • The deadbolt was replaced with the B500 style
  • New tailpiece required to accept the B500 deadbolt
  • New interconnect assembly designed to accept the B500 deadbolt
  • 619 finish now available as standard


To update an older (pre-April 7, 2008) S200 lock, you must replace with the following components:

  • Interconnect Assembly (08-000)
  • Deadbolt
    • 2 3/8" or 2 3/4" backset (12-291)
    • 5" backset (12-633)
  • Cylinder components 
    • For conventional cylinders, driver bar (B520-685) and washer (B600-071)
    • For FSIC cylinders, housing (S306-135)
