What power supply is needed for EL devices?

The Von Duprin PS914 power supply must be used on the EL devices with either the 900-2RS or 900-4RL option board since the EL devices requires power supplies set at 24VDC to be able to provide the 16 amp inrush current.

Depending on which option boards used, 1 to 8 EL devices can be connected to the PS914 power supply.

1. PS914 x 900-2RS will power up to 2 EL devices.
2. PS914 x 900-4RL (4TD) will power up to 4 EL devices.
3. PS914 x 900-4RL (4TD) x 900-4RL (4TD) will power up to 8 EL devices.

You can use a Von Duprin PS914 power supply with any of the following option boards depending on the application.

1. 900-2RS board  will power 1 or 2 devices that do not require timing from power supply.
2. 900-4RL board can programmed for 4TD function will power 1 to 4 devices and can hold them open for up to 75 seconds.
3. 900-4RL board that can be programmed for AO function will power two single or pair of doors that require sequencing between the device and an auto-operator.
