What mullions should be used with XP devices?

  1. The Von Duprin XP98/99 device uses a different strike than standard 98/99 device.
  2. The 909 strike is for non fire rated XP devices and the 954 strike is for the fire rated XP device.
  3. 49/9954 mullions are prepped for standard 98/99 devices with 299/499F strikes. These are different from the XP's 909/954 strikes.
  4. To use an XP device with a mullion, order 4954-XP for non fire and 9954-XP for fire rated devices.
  5. 49/9954 blank mullions were used with XP devices up to March 2012 and customer had to prep the mullion for the XP strikes. From March 5, 2012 Von Duprin started offering the 49/9954 mullions with XP prep called 49/9954-XP.
