What finish will the strike and latch be if ordered with a split finish?

The door handing determines the finish of the latch and strike.

  • Left reverse and right reverse doors default to outside trim
  • Left and right hand doors default to inside trim
  • If lever and rose have different finishes the latch and strike will default to the rose / escutcheon (always part closest to door)
    • This also applies to the finish of the armor front used on mortise locks
