How do you get a 4600 Series operator out of "Fire Alarm" mode?

The "Fire Alarm" indication occurs when there is no connection across terminals 13 & 14.

  1. Check to verify that the "Fire Alarm" shunt (R1 jumper) on the I/O board has not been cut.
  2. Install jumper wire across terminals 13 & 14.  If condition remains, either the I/O Board, the Ribbon Connector, or the Control Box is defective.  If possible, swapping components with another unit to determine the defective component.
