Does Ives offer butt hinges for beveled edge doors?

The Full Mortise Butt Hinges can be use on straight edge or beveled edge doors.

On most models, this does not need to be specified as there is nothing different about the hinge when used on a beveled edge door.

The exception is the Full Mortise Swing Clear Hinges (5BB1SC and 5BB1SCHW) which do need to have Beveled Edge (B) specified when ordering (example;  5BB1BSC...).

A regular butt hinge can accommodate the beveled edge by simply being slightly open when the door is in the shut condition.

A Swing Clear hinge needs to be made specifically for a beveled edge door because the part of the hinge attached to the frame and to the door is bent around the corner of the frame.  You can see this in the templates for the Swing Clear Templates (available at us.allegion.com in the Document Library's Template Directory).
