CTE Must be in FDR mode for commissioning. Check the CTE mode LED to confirm FDR mode.
With the ENGAGE Mobile APP, open the ENGAGE site and from the CONNECT screen go to ADD (+) in the upper right corner.
The Mobile APP will offer a selection of devices to commission, scroll and select CTE,
Push the CTE SCHLAGE button, to start Bluetooth, as instructed by the ENGAGE Mobile APP
When the CTE appears in the list, select the CTE to commission
The CTE LED blinking will confirm you are commissioning the intended device, confirm with YES, in the upper right corner.
Name the CTE, with a recognizable door name, and hit next in the upper right corner
LOCK Relay - For information purposes, indicate the type of door device CTE is managing, Strike, Mag Lock, QEL, ,,,,
AUX Relay- Indicate in the "Activate AUX Relay" screen if you will wire and use the CTE AUX output. (Use of AUX is optional and usually used for Auto Operator control)
- If you are using AUX for an Auto Operator, indicate if you want AUX to active for "All Credentials" all USERS, or only designated "ADA USERS."
Enable ADA USERS in the ENGAGE WEB APP or the ENGAGE Mobile APP with the USER edit page and the ADA option.
- NOTE; To change the AUX setting after commissioning, you need to FDR and re-commission the CTE.
Alarm Relay - For information purposes, indicate if you wired the Alarm relay.
IMPORTANT - To active and use the Alarm relay, enable "DPS" and "Propped Door" with the ENGAGE WEB APP under device edits, or ENGAGE Mobile APP under device configuration.
Set the CTE Wi-Fi information if needed.
- Note: When CTE is LINKED to a IP Gateway, Wi-Fi information is not needed or used and can be SKIPPED.
Enter the HOST Information if asked. Contact your "Access Control Software" provider and get the HOST information. Host information is only needed when commissioned in an OEM account and using Wi-Fi rather than LINKING to a Gateway.
The FINISH screen indicates successful CTE commissioning.
