Can the ND70 X 80 be reversed?

The ND70 X 80 operation can be reversed to allow keyed latch retraction on the outside and lever locking and unlocking on the inside. To do this correctly and maintain the security of the outside lever and rose, the lock should be installed as follows:

  1. Install the chassis from the inside of door instead of the normal outside door installation position.
  2. Install the outside lever and spring cage on the outside of the door as usual.
  3. Install the inside spring cage and through bolts on the inside of the door.
  4. Install the inside rose.
  5. Install the inside lever.
  6. Test operation before closing door.
